Hot on the heels of unveiling the super-teched up Audi City in the heart of London’s Piccadilly Circus, another futuristic, experiential pop-up showroom has been attracting attention over in Copenhagen.
Called Audi Spheres, the enormous lightweight installation outside the Christiansborg Palace (Danish Parliament) is a feast of Audi’s cutting edge tech, with 360 cinematic video viewing, and wind-turbine inspired installations demonstrating Audi’s green credentials among its many treats. It’s another in the series of some 20 showrooms that Audi are to open over the next three years, with Beijing next in their sights.
The car showroom is leaving the suburbs and entering the heart of cities, innovating right on the doorstep of millions of consumers. Exposure. And an interesting, if not novel, way to do customer acquisition in the age of information.
